weekdays are getting more eventful now that there are actually increasing number of clients sending in laptops to be encrypted everyday. its not as eventful as id like it to be but hey, 1 or 2 hours less of wall staring is better than none at all.
went down to an AIA branch last tuesday at keppel towers for a whole day of encrypting madness. the success rate was about 50-75%.
now that i am unable to game on weekdays, i feel that games are being released faster than they should be. i actually have games that ive obtained and not even played yet.
darksiders is one bitchy game. its a hack and slash game with puzzles. sort of like tomb raider with a hell more hack and slash action. the thing is, i absolutely love hack and slash games but i totally abhor puzzle based games. and darksiders is a bitch with both elements in it. it does an excellent job at keeping me frustrated and addicted at the same time. everytime when im doing a puzzle, i get so bored that i tell myself once this is done(and i get to a checkpoint) ill quit this retarded game. however, everytime when im bored and pissed to the extent that i would love to press the quit button, id manage to get through the puzzle and loads of monsters would appear to give me a truly amazing hack and slash moment which would make me want to continue the game and sever more limbs
the storyline is also rather interesting. its not exactly deep and entrancing but its quite a new and refreshing story line to me(or maybe i havent played a game that has a similar storyline before).
it starts with a little history lesson of the world, where in the beginning, heaven and hell were created and were constantly at war with each other. a neutral party called the council was tasked with ensuring balance between the two warring factions. the council's army consisted of the brotherhood of riders which were imbalanced in terms of strength and power so they could literally wipe hell and heaven of all inhabitants if they wished.
soon after, humans were created. the legend was that once all(the 7) seals(no idea where they were or how to break them) are broken, all factions would have a free for all. apparently some faggot(it is believed that the destroyer,leader of hell, did it) started the free for all even though all seals were not broken. WAR, the rider of the red horse was some how summoned and caught in this crossfire and framed for helping the destroyer. he asked to be sent back to earth to find out who did it and to rape that person in the butt with no lube.
tomorrow is the start of my 4th week as an intern and i do hope that the rusty overheated(literally, there are burn marks on it) client laptop which ive left powered on for decryption over the weekend has not exploded or melted because then i would not have a table to use
