it allows you to use a specified portion of your ram like a hard drive/thumbdrive
as you probably know, ram is lightning fast. proven by these benchmarks

my 1333mhz ram gives an avg of 5gb/s read rates on hdtune pro and my lenovo's 1066 ram gives an avg of 4gb/s read speeds. i tried putting cs 1.6 into the drive and running it and maps load instantly. wc3 also runs extremely quickly(starting up and map loading) all i can say about it is, farking awesome! now i know what to do if i ever come across a system with 16gb of ram
and those who say youll never use more than 4gb of ram, now you know how you can use more than 4gb ram
hopefully, im going to obtain 2x4gb rams by this weekend so i can convert like 3 gb into a drive and run some games off it.
a rather distant relative just passed away and it makes me wonder how long more till someone close goes and how long more till its me in that casket(or a similar looking one, not that id find out anyway)
how i wish the better quarter of my life isnt spent on stupid mandatory education and preparations for the 'real world'.
that aside, my parents just bought some serious dslr at sitex. cannon eos 7d with some 15-85is usm lense kit and a some other lenses like zoom lense etc and also accessories like battery grip tripod blah blah blah.
they refuse to acknowledge that i am totally uninterested in digital photography and insist i go for the complimentary photography lessons + how to use your gay camera workshop by cannon and then teach them how to use it. thats so fucked up.
you buy something you want and send your kid off to 'school' so that he can teach you how to use your toy. how bout reading the fucking manual and wikipedia?
mom just walked in nagging about the daily bread that ive dropped on the floor blah blahblah and killed my mood. piss out
