yes, i have changed my blog music and you might recognize it from big bang theory's opening theme. that isnt why i chose it though. decided not to loop it cos its really short and its gona cause headaches if listened to for extended periods.

i feel its quite an interesting song about our universe and its history crammed into some 1 min 50 seconds. i think the vid+pics are funny too. better than singing about the days of the week in our calender anyway.


so ive finally graduated from singpore polytechnic with a diploma in infocomm security management. 3 years ago, i couldnt wait for this to happen. now that its happened, i have no idea what to do next. but i do know i can now state that i have a diploma in job/misc application forms under highest education achieved rather than just o levels.(insert f yea picture)

some of you must be wondering why ive kept silent(blogging silence not verbal silence >.>) throughout the rally/election period when many other not so apathetic people are speaking out via blogs, fb posts, twitter and etc. one major reason is my lack of enthusiasm in getting a free cup of gold roast coffee from the isd should i get over zealous.

the second is because i consider myself rather apathetic. as i have mentioned before, to me as long as I am not actively doing something about it, i am apathetic. it doesnt matter if i know whats going on or disagree with whats going on. as long as im not doing anything im apathetic. also, being unable to vote, it doesnt make sense to go on ranting about shit when you cant do much about it does it?

seeing the pre/post election reactions of some of my peers on fb gives the impression that there is no hope.

the reason i say this is because many posts on twitter/fb by many individuals from generation y and z gives me the impression that the singaporean dream is to live in an UPGRADED HDB flat that costs more than half a million dollars with a 99 year lease, work for an employer till your 80 and have an extremely high nett worth due to all the money in your cpf.

(the above is deduced from the posts i see by friends and mutual friends.)

someone i know from WOW tells me he bought a HOUSE with 5k USD. 5k usd is about 6200 SGD. so a guy buys a HOUSE(landed property for 6200 sgd. what can 6200 sgd get you here? 2 months of rent in a hdb MAX. problem?
(ok so i cant confirm for a fact that the 5k house exists but he claims it is a house not an apartment. even if its 50k usd or 62k sgd, you still cant even buy a new car here in sg let alone a house)

yes land is rare in singapore so why bring in meeeeeeeeleeons of unnecessary people to take up more of this rare land space and aid in absurd rises in housing pricing.

the people thinking omfg YEAAAAA my hdb is worth 800k omfg probably dont know that when the lease period is over, its worth close to 0

and so what if your hdb is worth 800k. if you sell it and make a huge profit, its gona cost almost ALL of your profit or even more to upgrade/get a similar hdb. you mad?

as for cpf, i like my money where i can see, touch, feel, smell and lick it. not in some imaginary bank and the only way i can see it is by looking at numbers on the cpf website and the only time i can spend it is when im near death at 80 or already dead. no, it does not feel good to have a nett worth of 200,000 sgd if more than half of that sum is your cpf.
(imagine forbes featuring a guy with a nett worth of 2 million dollars but 1.8 million dollars is in cpf. surely you'll go chey... no use one wad instead of WOW SO RICH)


and i dont get how one thinks or even gets the idea what one has done, another cannot do the same or even better given that the job/feat is something that we should be expecting of the person in that particular position. its not like the person had done something amazing like secure an agreement with an Arabian prince to give us an unlimited supply of free crude oil for as long as his oil rigs operate.

i am in dire need of good games to play.. wow is getting stale and games that came out recently(like brink) are unable to keep my playing for more than 20 minutes straight.

i am also attempting to play the instruments i once played and needless to say i am having difficulty.

problem 1 with violin - pai seh to play cos volume cant rly be controlled and neighbours will hear then i pai seh >.<

problem 2 with violin - i have longer than preferred length nails which i intend to keep that way so i cant press/glide/tremolo

problem 1 with electone - FARKING FLOPPY DISKS ARENT WORKING

problem 2 with electone - SOME NOTES ON SONG SHEET ARE FADED SO I CANT SEE SHIT CAPTAIN

problem 3 with electone - cant really obtain new disks + new songs to play cos the new electones use usb thumbdrives(high tech worxzxzxzxzcxczxc) and the only way i can possibly obtain the disks and song sheets is from my previous teacher who hasnt gotten back to me in weeks(supposedly screamed and died of shock at the list of disks i need i gave her.

problem 3 with electone - im old -.- dont seem to be fast enough and my feet have gotten really stiff or something..
